In-Person & Online Sessions

The Bloomsbury Therapist provides a confidential, safe and welcoming space, to support and explore how you are feeling, thinking and reacting with others.

You may feel unable to cope and struggle to understand how you have managed to get to this place. You may be repeating patterns and choices that you know are destructive but cannot seem to change course. Or you could be struggling in a relationship with a partner, a family member or work colleagues.

By having the space and time to think and talk with someone qualified to actively listen and help, you will be investing in a pathway for a happier more secure future.

About me

My core training was accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council and I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I am a qualified and clinically trained Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor. I work with individuals and couples. My private practice rooms are in London (Richmond) and Cheltenham, (Gloucestershire). There is also an option to work with me from the comfort of your own home, via an Online platform. As well as my private practice, I provide voluntary support for a local children's counselling service in Bracknell (Berkshire), and I am part of the training team for a counselling service in Stroud (Gloucestershire). My aim is to offer a warm, welcoming, supportive space, where we can think together and try to work out what’s going on and how things could look and feel differently .

Life brings many challenges

From the moment we are born, patterns of behaviour and responses are learned. We have times where some of these patterns are no longer useful for us. We may find ourselves repeatedly making destructive choices and want to find ways to move forward differently. Or we may be overwhelmed and confused with our choices and have minds and emotions so full, we start to leak and break down.

Psychodynamic Therapy and Counselling helps us understand how our current feelings and behaviour patterns, are shaped by past experiences. The relationship with your therapist is key and I will offer you a non-judgemental and confidential space, where you may talk freely and openly.

Get in touch

After you make contact, we will arrange for a good time to meet (either in person or online).

In this introductory session, we will work out how I may be able to help and if I am the right person for you.

I am able to offer in-person and online therapy sessions.

Your therapy sessions may be open-ended or you may decide that a limited number are more appropriate for you.

We will usually meet at the same time every week, (although I may be able to offer an alternative arrangement, if required and depending on my availability). I have a 48 hour cancellation policy.

I offer clinical supervision for qualified and student Counsellors.
